Sisal WR wheels consist of corrugated sisal fabric which is on both sides covered with a raw cotton fabric. They deliver high counter pressure and flexibility and are therefore suited for coarse cut-buffing of slightly profiled surfaces. The fan shape of SB-3 cut-buffing wheels delivers strong airflows that provide effective cooling in high performance metalworking. They are mainly used for the work piece preparation of galvanic surface refinements, as well as machine buffing of tool steels and precision parts. 3 layers of sisal fabric sewn double-sided with cotton, both diagonally twisted against their weaving direction
